Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) brings together the latest science of mindfulness and character strengths to help people flourish. By exploring these two practices together you can use them to re-connect with your happiness, focus on goals, cope with problems, and find a deeper meaning and engagement with life.
Mindfulness Practices:
Participants practice mindful breathing, listening, speaking, eating, walking, mindfulness of problems, loving-kindness meditation, brief mindfulness, and many other practices.
Character Strengths Practices:
Participants practice strengths-spotting, use of signature strengths, character strengths 360, strengths branding, strengths interview, valuing strengths in others, best possible self, strengths goal-setting, strengths-activity mapping, strengths gathas, and many others.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn the basics of mindfulness through regular exploration and practice.
- Learn about your own strengths, how to spot them in others, and how to apply them to your practice of mindfulness to deepen your practice and overcome barriers.
- Learn how to engage more deeply with life.
